As the Business Development Representative, you work to improve the organization’s market position and achieve financial growth by generating new business relationships. The BDR defines business unit strategies, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates, closes business deals, and maintains an extensive knowledge of the current market conditions. BDRs work closely with the other branches of the company to increase sales opportunities and maximize Trikon’s revenue. The BDR’s primary goal is to identify and attain new clients. BDRs also help manage existing clients, ensuring they stay satisfied and continue to do business with Trikon.


• Develop sales cycle for NDT products and services to Trikon and Nexus customer base
• Call customers every day to build a sales pipeline
• Follow-up on existing opportunities either within accounts or with prospects
• Prepare product presentations and pitches for sales meetings
• Provide quotes and solutions in response to prospect’s needs
• Collaborate with suppliers to register deals and increase margins
• Travel within territory to existing or new customers (currently suspended due to Covid restrictions)
• Actively promote products and services within network (both online and personal)
• Develop relationships with prospects for long cycle sales
• Develop marketing strategies and promotional material to drive sales
• Track and monitor pipeline using CRM and personal tools
• Learn and train for new products and industry concepts
• Practice sales techniques and hone sales skills
• Attend trade shows and be a company ambassador to prospects and suppliers
• Other duties as assigned

Bilingual in English and French is preferred.


Bachelor’s in Science / Business or equivalent work experience. Experience with industrial sales a plus.
