Job Description/Requirements: Position and Responsibilities Located in the Cobourg plant and reporting to the NDE, Coordinator the duties specific to UT examination include but are not limited to: Calandria Tube Immersion automated UT inspection, Providing examination report to CGSB UT Level 2 or 3 for review, Providing feedback to the company, Interaction with the TSSA-ANI Supporting all Company policies. Additional inspection activities outside of Ultrasonic will also be required depending on contract status and daily production requirements. Inspection activities may include but are not limited to: Visual and dimensional inspection of product using manual and automated measuring equipment. Education and Qualifications Requirements of the position: CGSB 48.9712 UT Level 1 Certification Understanding of ASME BPVC Section III and Section V; CSA N285.6 Lift and carry tubes (22 kg) (2 Person Lifts) Proficiency in MS Office applications Familiarity with precision measuring equipment Strong team player Must be able to work shift work and flexible hours. |

Job Description/Requirements: Non-destructive Testing (NDT) Technician – 2 positions Full-time, 40-hour equivalent and On Call, as required Description of Position: We are looking for someone to join our team in role of NDT Technician in our facilities located in Red Deer and Grande Prairie. Tasks will include: · Maintain in good standing with IPIA (International Pipe Inspectors Association) · Maintain in good standing with ASNDT (American Society of Non-destructive Testers) · Perform inspections on various downhole tools and equipment · Set up, calibration, maintenance and certification of NDT equipment · Conduct tests with appropriate NDT technique(s) · Interpret, evaluate and document results · Must be familiar with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method as utilized by TEC · Make up and breakdown thru-tubing tools and their components, as required · Tool failure mitigation and investigation · Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner · Occasionally pick up and drop off tools (Hotshots to and from locations, etc.) · General shop duties including cleaning organizing, building maintenance, assisting in inventory control or other related duties, as required |
