| Job Description/Requirements: This company is currently recruiting a NDE Inspector for their asset integrity department. This is a full-time, permanent employment position based out of Edmonton, AB. In this role you will: -Perform Non-destructive testing on pressure equipment, boilers, tanks, pressure piping, pipelines, etc. -Ultrasonic -Liquid Penetrant -Magnetic Particle -Perform corrosion circuitization -Perform shop and repair inspections -Assist with this company's AQP programs, including continuous improvement -Assist with the company API 510 / 570 / 653 inspectors -Start training towards becoming an API 510 / 570 / 653 inspector Core Competencies The applicable candidate is to have the following assets: -Safety and quality focused -Effective communication skills; both written and verbal -Strong computer skills -Effective team skills -Strong problem solving -Strong ethics and integrity -Self starter and strong work ethic Requirements Must have: -CGSB Level 1 or I2 Ultrasonic Testing (Must have CGSB) -Thorough knowledge of Safety Codes Act and PESR -Thorough knowledge of ASME, API and CSA codes and standards -5+ years’ experience as a NDE technician -Local applications only (international applications not considered) Preference will be given to candidates with the following: API 510 / 570 / 653 / 936 / 1169 Certifications ABSA ISI-PVPP TSASK Pressure Equipment Inspector Certification NACE Basic and/or Advanced Corrosion Certifications |
