| Job Description/Requirements: To perform all tasks of a General Inspector and non-destructive examinations based on certifications held. - Perform NDE based on certifications in all areas of the shop. - Read and interpret documentation. - Create inspection reports, maintain and file documentation. Qualifications: - Proven commitment to workplace safety. - General Inspector qualifications. - NDE certifications from a governing body, i.e. CGSB, AWS, CWB - Must possess MT CGSB-2 AND PT CGSB-2 AND RT CGSB-2 PLUS 2 of the following 6: - CEDO - UT CGSB-1 - RT CGSB-1 - 2 years as a Fabrication/Machining inspector within BWXT Canada Ltd. - 5 years as Fabrication/Machine inspector with documented evidence from an external company or 5 years Fitting/Welding experience within BWXT Canada Ltd. - Certified Weld Inspector (AWS-CWI or CWB2). - Proficiency with computers. - Available to work all shifts (Days, Afternoons, Weekend Days, Weekend afternoons). - Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment or in nuclear power-related industry.
