KF has 7 NDT Technicians who perform calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection on all 5 disciplines. 2 positions are in Hamilton at the airport, where we perform heavy maintenance on narrow and wide body aircraft.

Based on the level of qualifications, the candidate’s duties may include:
• Perform specialized inspection methods on aircraft/engines/components to ensure quality or detect defects
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual Indicators
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
• Carry out calibration requirements on all NDT Test Equipment;
• Work closely with customer to identify and interpret test results
• Organize and report test results

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE or SKILLS
• CGSB Level 2 Certifications in UT & ET is required
• CGSB Level 1 Certifications with RT, MT, PT would be an asset
• Typically 5 or more years of NDT experience
• Ability to interpret drawings and instructions
• Flexibility to travel if required
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good report writing capabilities (word and excel)
