As we come close to the end of 2021, it is a good time to pause and reflect on the year – to be thankful for those around us, welcome new connections, and look forward with optimism to the coming year. That last point may be difficult, given the last 2 years, but I believe that we are nearing the end of these global challenges thanks to the collective efforts of people all around the world.

That is definitely something that we can be thankful for.

As opportunities for NDT professionals begin to come back again and consumer confidence begins to return to many of the industries, we can welcome the fast-paced, and rewarding environment that NDT has to offer.

On a personal note, I’m thankful for family, health, and friends. I have just welcomed my second grandchild, a little girl who I hope will grow up in a world with equal opportunities to fulfill her dreams, whatever they might be.
