19th World Conference on Non-Destructive Testing

The World Conference will return to Europe after a gap of 16 years, and to Germany after a gap of 46 years. In fact the 6th World conference was held in Hanover in 1970.

We can be confident that the German Society DGZfP will organise one of the biggest and best World Conferences ever with the very best technology from all around the globe on show. My aim will be to make it, in its own way, one of the most important and valuable for the whole world of NDT.

8th European Workshop on Structural Health Monitoring

The European Workshop on Structural Health Monitoring Series (EWSHM) started in 2002 and has grown significantly, over the years, to become the strong counterpart to the International Workshop on SHM (IWSHM) held in Stanford, CA every odd-numbered year. The previous session of the EWSHM held at Nantes (2014) hosted more than 500 delegates and 20 industrial exhibitors. Following the success of the two previous conferences, EWSHM is now organised jointly with the European Conference of the Prognostics and Health Management Society (PHM). PHM has become an increasingly important subject, specifically with regards to real-world applications of SHM.

EWSHM 2016 will take place in the city of Bilbao, in the north of Spain. Bilbao has evolved to become one of the most vibrant and creative cities in Europe. It offers a focus point for business with world-class facilities, including a modern airport with many connecting flights to main European cities, and is home to some of Spain’s largest corporations. The city provides a fascinating tourism experience with its unique combination of Basque heritage and futuristic architecture and design.

Digital Imaging 2016

The Digital Imaging Conference is ASNT’s longest running conference for suppliers and user of digital and radiographic imaging. In its 19th year, this event emphasizes the important role of, and challenges to, NDT for new construction and in-service inspection.

Participants from industry, academia, government and research organizations are encouraged to present at this ASNT Conference. This will be an excellent opportunity for sharing your knowledge as well as gaining exposure in the NDE industry and community.
Speakers are allowed 30 minutes for presentation and questions and answers.  Abstracts will be reviewed by the Program Chairs and scheduled in the program.  Presentations should be of a technical nature. ASNT strongly discourages the use of trade names, company identifications or product names in oral and visual presentations, abstracts and paper summaries.
Upon acceptance, speakers are encouraged to submit a 6-page papers summary of the work that will be presented. Instructions will be provided with the acceptance letter.

Ultrasonics for NDT

Ultrasonics for Nondestructive Testing is ASNT's newest topical conference dedicated to Phased Array UT (PAUT), Time-of-Flight Diffraction (TOFD) and conventional Ultrasonic Techniques. The market for ultrasonic NDT inspection has grown immensely since the introduction of portable equipment: the last decade has been dominated by phased array UT; time-of-flight diffraction has been gaining traction due to the performance benefits when operating with phased array; and now research and development is being focused on these two techniques, yielding key developments for the field.
