2. Register for the Exam [details]

- Course exams are online or paper-based based, depending on the exam type.
- Many courses require a math exam as part of their prerequisite. Please click here to read about that.
- A "live proctor" is an unbiased person that must be present while you attempt an exam.
- Your proctor cannot be your employer, a friend, or a library.
- Your exam must be held in the proctor's office/classroom, not in a private home and your proctor's email address cannot be a personal email address.
- For online exams:
- Once the exam registration is processed, emails are sent to both you and your proctor with instructions. Your proctor will be asked to reply to their email requesting the proctor code.
- Contact your proctor prior to showing up on exam day to ensure they have the proctor code necessary to start the online exam.
- For paper method-based exams: (i.e. EMC, Radiation Safety and CEDO Preparation, etc., unless held at the Hamilton location)
- Once the exam registration is processed, the exam is couriered to the proctor (please allow for 1 week, providing ample time for the exam to be received).
- If you fail to arrange the date and time with your proctor BEFORE the exam is mailed, we will need to receive the exam back before another exam will be sent.
- Contact your proctor again prior to showing up on exam day to ensure that they have received the paper copy of the exam.
- Additional proctor fees may be charged based on the proctor of your choice.
