As you all know, a structured credit system as an alternative for certification renewal was added to ISO 9712 in 2022 and is currently now part of the Canadian certification system. The following link is the NRCan Application Form for structured credits and explains the rules. There are 11 activities listed and you need a total of 100 in the 5 year period. Inspectors who are performing NDT on a daily basis can get 95 of those points from their work. Of most interest to CINDE and PANNDT are: Activity #6: Participation to a technical seminar/paper It is too late to present a paper for next week but participation at PANNDT 2025 and CINDE membership are still available. Remember these are annual options for the 5 year period. From conversations with the Certification Bodies, it seems that your registration receipt and conference program listing your presentation will be sufficient proof for your application but if you need anything else, please ask. |
